You are better off shooting with on type of bulb and using gels to create color - you could use clamp lights with household bulbs which are tungsten (so you need tungsten film) or by DCA bulbs which are daylight bulbs for household lamps (they are expensive and have about an 8 hour life span) - this would let you shoot daylight film.
Crewdson uses HMI lights which are movie lights rented from a movie house - they are pricey and can be dangerous if you do not know how to operate them. He pirated electricity but never bought lights from a hardware store (I did for my work at the beginning though - but I don't think I would tell my intro class that.
